Thank you for a poignant farewell to the marvelous Catherine Wolf ’72 AM, ’74 PhD (Obituaries, May/June). As a footnote, I’d like to add that the documentary mentioned, Hear Me Now, about Cathy’s place as a pioneer in human-computer interaction, was created by a fellow Brown grad—and it would not have existed without the Brown Alumni Magazine. After reading about her remarkable story in the March/April 2009 issue, “I Will Be Heard,” I connected with Cathy and her family in advance of creating the film. I’m incredibly grateful to have gotten to know such a whip-smart, joyous, and compassionate individual through this project. She will be dearly missed.
