Send feedbackMs. Selemon states that “if she sees something suffering, I can’t just walk by” and then admits to consuming an ungodly amount of meat at a Korean barbecue place. I guess when it comes to animal suffering she’s fine paying for it as long as she doesn’t have to see it. As an ethical vegan for 28 years it ceases to amaze me how people rationalize caring about animals while consuming them. When considering the horrific suffering humans inflict on animals via their food choices, not to mention the devastating impact animal agriculture has on the environment and our health and its concomitant healthcare costs, one might question the point of this article.
