I had to laugh when I read BAM’s report on the state of viewpoint diversity at Brown, which concluded that all is good! Oddly lacking from the investigation were:

The November 2025 BDH survey which found that 72% of conservative students are uncomfortable expressing their political beliefs (compared to 37% of very liberal students). The report in that same BDH article that the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE) consistently ranks Brown near the bottom – 187th – in their free speech rankings. Brown also received F’s in speech climate and political tolerance. Worth a mention in an analysis of the health of viewpoint diversity, no?
