So true, a real balm for my husband and I in Italy during the pandemic. Alison is a superstar and the show’s content is so inspiring and right on. Especially the literature—hearing the voices of authors I admire such as James McBride, the author of Deacon King Kong, was just fabulous. She is an amazing interviewer—such humanity on the airwaves.

Great article and nice to catch up on what Alison is up to now. I remember her well as an excellent DJ on WBRU back in the 1980s and having the chance to work as an intern in the studio with her was a highlight of my freshman year. I will be sure to tune in to the show.
