Send feedbackArn Chorn-Pond has been a friend of the organization I run, Global Citizens Circle, for many years. We presented him with a Global Citizens Circle award at which Kerry Kennedy ’81 was our featured discussion leader. He is a very special person indeed. [Regarding] Pippa Jack’s call for more global stories: I’d like to suggest that BAM may be interested in doing a story on Global Citizens Circle, which has been bringing together diverse groups of people, from world leaders to local activists, since 1974.

What a beautiful article about a remarkable man [Arn Chorn-Pond ’90] and the arts he has helped restore! Thank you for this glimpse into the power of people to overcome trauma and find purpose and love in this world. The power of music…. “Music doesn’t lie. If there is something to be changed in this world then it can only happen with music.” Jimi Hendrix
