Martha Joukowsky was one of the most influential teachers I have ever had. She was a brilliant, courageous, fun-loving, generous soul. Her home was always filled with students and laughter and curiosity. She inspired me and believed in me at a time when I was most unsure of myself. My memories of working at the Petra Great Temple with the Brown University team are some of my most treasured. She was an absolute legend and will be dearly missed.
