I became fascinated with birds after moving to a lakeside Florida home in 2019. Sometimes I feel like I am living in a tropical bird sanctuary. I have a digital collection of some of my favorites. The Roseate Spoonbill is the runaway favorite. I was canoeing one day and came across a big pink bird with a beak like a ladle. This game sounds like something I would thoroughly enjoy.

My wife and I are obsessed with Wingspan. We try to play two games every night. We have joked that it has strengthened our marriage, so we refer to it as “Wed-span.” I find the criticism regarding the game’s lack of a conservation angle to be absurd. Wingspan has made us love birds and learning about birds even more. It has made us re-examine, with curiosity, even the most mundane birds like robins and sparrows. And yes, the raven is OP. My wife and I solved this by sometimes starting each game with each player having a raven in hand. Elizabeth, we love the amazing game you created. Please make more games!
