I hope the class also considers the role of risk. Our customers are putting in systems to evaluate risk related to different climate and regulatory scenarios (e.g. for mortgages or other long-term investments). The practice is most obvious in insurance, but we see it also in government and asset management. Regardless of your politics or opinions about science, nobody wants to lose money.
