Having worked in an independent school for boys with a strong athletic program, I met many many parents whose sports ambitions for their sons exceeded reality. I think he’s great, therefore he is. And if Mom and Dad believe it, junior does too. This leads to disappointment, resentment of coaches, and intense frustration for all. The world of sports is gigantic. There is room for all with a passion, though it may not be on the court/field/rink/arena. I sincerely appreciate Coach Lowe’s unique coaching. It seems that his players, and their parents, do too.
