Send feedbackThank you for the Spring ’26 BAM issue focused on the December 13 shootings. It was very well done. One article had a “content warning” attached, and I wanted to share the research about those. Despite people believing they are helpful, they are not. Most trigger warnings and content warnings [seem] innocuous, but some research shows that they are harmful, particularly to those most vulnerable (those with PTSD and other anxiety disorders). I understand that they may seem helpful, but they end up increasing anticipatory anxiety rather than assuaging it.
