Thank you, Curt Harris, for capturing the welcoming feeling that the Black tables in the Ratty provided. Safe spaces for fellowship and food are so critical. And the Ratty connected us, fed us and afterwards made room for some raucous bid whist games. “Rise and Fly!” I also feel sad that that precious pocket of community seems now to be relegated to history. But it was an important refuge for me the entire time I was at Brown. Thanks for the memories.
